ICON LAUNCHES DIGITAL PRESENTATION
FOR US ARMY
CD-ROM will be used to inform key audiences about advances
in R&D support
ANN
ARBOR, MICHIGAN, March 29 2004 — ICON Creative
Technologies Group has completed a stand-alone presentation
for the U.S. Army's National Automotive Center (NAC)
designed to educate government and industry on a new
process to facilitate ongoing R&D support. The program
offers the U.S. Army significant reductions in fabrication
time, material costs and manufacturing costs for continued
support of combat and support systems.
ICON’s creative team produced a complete presentation
on CD-ROM including a user interface, video and animation.
Development of the video included ICON’s award-winning
script writers, as well as video editors who created
the visual direction, the animation and editing. ICON
Creative Technologies Group won last year’s IABC
Renaissance Award of Excellence for script writing on
a prior project.
The entire video was completed without initial footage
or visuals from NAC, requiring ICON’s editors
to build the entire presentation from the ground up.
Nearly every second consisted of effects designed and
animated by ICON’s video editors, accompanied
with a narrative voiceover. This video is the second
produced by ICON Creative Technologies Group for the
NAC.

ground vehicle systems through: performance improvements,
service life extensions, and reduction in ground vehicle
design, manufacturing, production, operation and support
