Technologies Group announces the launch of an all-new
website for the Detroit Medical Center’s (DMC’s)
Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM). The site,
http://www.rimrehab.org,
features a complete redesign, departing significantly
from the prior version. In addition, a strong emphasis
was placed on patients and their stories, highlighting
their success working with RIM.
The site’s new design includes Flash-based mastheads
that scroll through different patient success stories,
prompting users to click on them and learn more about
the programs and the services RIM has to offer. The
site also features the talented medical staff at RIM,
highlighting their education, their training and their
specialties.
DMC CEO Mike Duggan has challenged the entire organization,
including RIM and its sister organizations, to be more
proactive in bringing in customers and building public
awareness concerning DMC’s centers of excellence.
At the same time, RIM and its sister organizations need
ever more cost-effective solutions to reach their goals.
ICON Creative Technologies Group was able to provide
an approach that kept the project very lean, but maximized
results.
Moving forward, RIM will have access to ICON Creative
Technologies Group’s content management tools
to handle changes and updates. ICON’s content
management solution allows administrators to use web-based
tools to add/modify and delete pages within their website.
